The Ales
Knots of May 3.0% Harveys, Sussex
This ruby coloured light mild imparts a delicate hop fragrance on the
nose. Originally brewed in 1995 to celebrate the 21st anniversary of
this local womens team of Morris Dancers.
Black Gold 4.4% Cairngorm Brewing Co, Highlands of Scotland
A Scottish stout with a wonderful rich, dark colour. A smooth full
bodied beer with subtle bitterness, giving way to late sweetness and
underlying roast barley hints.
Red Top 3.8% Old Dairy Brewery, Kent
A traditional English ale but with a more relaxed taste. It is
brewed using our unique combination of Marris Otter, Crystal and Brown
Malt, with Challenger, East Kent Golding and Cascade hops.
The result in a rich tan coloured beer, that is balanced on the
palate, with a hint of citrus aroma. It shows all the characteristics
of best English
bitter.
Loose Valley Best 3.8% Ye Olde Robs Shed, Loose, Kent
Full bodied, hoppy ale made from classical Kentish hops. This
one-off beer has been specially made for Bridge Stock, by Stile Bridge
regular Robin. Not to be missed!
Masterbrew 3.7% Shepherd Neame, Kent
A clean, dry, refreshing, session bitter, having a touch of
sweetness, but displaying an assertive and vibrant hop with a lingering
bitter finish.
Byker Light 3.5% Hadrian & Border Brewery, Borders
Light in alcohol with a citrusy and hoppy dry taste and a bitter
finish.
Wolf in Sheeps Clothing 3.7% Wolf Brewery, Norfolk
This traditional Norfolk mild has a malty aroma with fruity
undertones. Lightly hopped with Fuggles and Goldings, this beer has a
long, clean finish.
Tradewinds 4.3% Cairngorm Brewing Co, Highlands of Scotland
Three time former champion beer of Britain, has a lovely hoppy, sweet
scent. Fruity flavour, with a slight hint of blackberries, that fills
out an otherwise sharp, crisp, citrusy flavour.
King Arthur 4.3% Cottage Brewery, Somerset
Chestnut coloured best bitter, well balanced with a lingering bitter
finish.
Olympia 4.2% Harveys, Sussex
A cool golden summer ale. Very refreshing with a balanced
complexity.
It was first produced in 2005 to celebrate our major summer award at
Kensington Olympia for Best Bitter and became an instant hit.
Battle Axe 4.2% Rudgate Brewery, Yorkshire
Award winning premium bitter. A well hopped bitter, initially
bittersweet, complex fruit gives a memorable aftertaste.
Betty Stoggs 4% Skinners Brewery, Cornwall
Classic pale amber, mid strength bitter with distinct hoppy
overtones. A beautifully balanced quaffing ale. Bitter finish is slow
to develop but long to fade.
Gold Top 4.5% Old Dairy Brewery, Kent
By combining Maris Otter, the best British ale malt, with malts
normally used in the finest continental lagers gives a beer with good
body, caramelised undertones and a distinct gold colour.
Blue Top 4.8% Old Dairy Brewery, Kent
Proper hoppy I.P.A, amber in colour with lemony notes from the
styrina golding hops.
Tyneside Brown Ale 4.7% Hadrian & Border Brewery, Borders
This Brown Ale is brewed on Tyneside. It is a full bodied, nutty,
dark amber beer balanced with traditional English bittering and aroma
hops.
Heart of Rother 4.5% Whites Brewing Company, East Sussex
Amber coloured with a zesty hop and surprisingly fruity bite.
Red Ale 4.5% O`Hanlon`s Brewery, Devon
A beautifully deep and burnished copper to ruby colour. A good
voluptuous balance of gentle hop with a wine-like fruitiness that is
smooth and pleasing.
Goldrush 5.0% Cottage Brewery, Somerset
The champion strong ale and supreme champion beer at the 13th S.I.B.A
Maltings Beer Festival. A deep golden ale, brewed with Cascade hops,
well balanced, crisp and refreshing.
Chilly Willy 5.1% Whites Brewing Company, East Sussex
Darker old ale using a fruity hop with a blackcurrant finish.
Audit Ale 6.2% Westerham Brewery, Kent
A strong ale, brewed to the 1938 strength and using the same
ingredients as the original best selling bottled beer of the Black Eagle
Brewery.
