Stile Bridge News
July 08 Edition
NEW BEERS!

Next week commencing 7th July we will have Becks Vier on draught and towards the end of this month we are having Harveys and Masterbrew as regulars on the Bar.
Well done Marion from Loose who won Dinner for 4, we are doing another competition for another month, due to the popularity, so if you fancy dinner for 4 on us, simply enter online.
We had a good evening of darts against the Social Club at East Farleigh, when we came an admirable 2nd! We look forward to a re- match soon. Alex is organising our very own `Premier League` of Darts, with a small fee to join, you can make arrrangements to play (at a mutually convenient time) each of the other members of the league, and once all games are played, the winners, and runners up will receive a prize.
The next quiz night will be on Tuesday 22nd July and we only have space now for 1 or 2 more teams, so if you would like to come along for only £10 per head you can enjoy supper and a great fun evening. Our August quiz night will be back to its usual Thursday, the 28th. All we ask is that all team members do some serious swatting up as it is getting a bit boring, handing over the 1st prize to Graham Weaver and his team - `My little Peroni`
The Grisley Club funds are now nearly £800! The eventual winner of the kitty will certainly be smiling at someones expense! If you would like to join, we do have a waiting list and all those on it will be contacted when the next round starts.
We have some great live music coming up throughout the month of July, Friday night is always music night at the Stile Bridge and if you have not already taken up our Friday and Saturday offer, please do book a table and enjoy 3 courses from our Menu for only £16.90. Please check our website www.stile.co.uk, for the gig guide and menu.
Marc Hoffman, formerly of the Wild Duck at Marden Thorn has joined us at the Stile Bridge, Marc works both out front and also behind the scenes in the Kitchen. He has been tinkering with the menu and we will be putting on a new menu next week.
Finally, while still available, on Sunday 24th August (Bank Holiday Sunday), we are lucky enough to have performing the great Nicky Moore with his band the Blues Corporation, they will be continuing their `Hog on the Log` Tour, where they have been playing at various venues throughout the U.K. Admission will be by ticket only on this evening. To purchase your ticket please come along soon as this will be a sell out! Ticket price is £10 and will include a finger buffet.
Cheers, hope to see you soon
