The Grisley Club
Is as the name suggests not for the faint hearted! At time of going to press there are 62 members of this club with a waiting list for the next round.
Each member has chosen a celebrity who they think is likely, in the not too distant future, to leave this mortal coil! The rules insist that the celebrity must not be over 100 years old or have no terminal illness! When your celebrity passes away you win the kitty and the next round starts, at that time you then have an option to keep your celeb, or change them.
Each member pays only £1 per week per celebrity and with so many members the pot soon builds up. The highest payout to date has been to the lucky Landlord, winning nearly £800.00!

The Football Premier League Club
Has around 20 people in it who have predicted the placings of all teams in the premier league at the end of the football season. On a Sunday afternoon many of us get together for a little flutter on the outcome of the game shown live on Sky Sports! This is a new club and the first winner last season was Tony (Wilko) Wilkinson. Next round of this starts Aug 08. |

Golf
We hold 3 or 4 golf days a year, at various local courses. |

Darts
We hold an annual Stile Bridge open in January of each year and throughout the rest of the year we hold darts evenings, generally monthly. We also run in-house Summer and Winter leagues. |
